Kenzow, a world music artist blending reggae, afro pop, and West African guitar, embodies an elegant fusion of genres. Originally from Burkina Faso and now based in Montreal after a stint in France, this young singer-songwriter shares his music sometimes in the city's streets and subways. His compositions captivate with urban Afro pop and reggae nuances, reflecting the vibes of West Africa.
With a universal ambition, Kenzow aims to touch and move a broad audience, regardless of their origins. Driven by endless creativity, he continually explores new sounds, often accompanied by his guitar. As the son of the renowned African director Idrissa Ouedraogo, he was immersed in art and culture from an early age.
In 2018, Kenzow shone by participating in the prestigious Syli d'Or final, marking his promising rise in the music scene.
